R: The green water will make the petals turn green and the blue water will make the petals turn blue!

Mommy: Do you have a stem like the flowers?

R: No (silly mommy!)

Mommy: Do you have leaves like a flower?

R: No (Why is mommy asking me dumb questions?)

Mommy: Do you have petals like a flower?

R: Yes.

Mommy (surprised): No you don't, silly!

R: (insistent) YES I DO!

Mommy: Where are they? I don't see your petals?

R: They're on my tricycle, Mom.

Second time in the snow

R: I'm gonna build a snowman with a carrot nose and go ice skating and make snow angels and go ice skating and build a snowman with a carrot nose....Oh no, mommy! We not have any carrots! (starts to pout)

(I didn't clue her in on the fact that we didn't have any ice skates either. )

Today's pictures...
through a preschooler's eyes

- This is the cuddly little creature who steals my toys and slobbers on my toothbrush when I'm not looking. I call him Bob.
-These are my toes. Cute, aren't they?

3. This is me helping mommy grocery shop. I don't eat vegetables. I just take pictures of them.

4. And this is me. The cute, affectionate, lovable preschooler that I am. I do have a mouth. It never closes.
